SUMMARY:

The work presents a model of station that generates electricity and hydrogen in order to be applied and allocated strategically at fuel-stations, considering the Brazilian conditions that such fuel-stations already follows marketing and logistics premises that allow to being regularity provided with ethanol fuel as well are usually near to the consumers. Configurates as possibility, the strategic usage of this wide network of fuel-stations that in general has relevant locations such as urban centers and highways for electricity and hydrogen supplying. Such strategy would be allowing the intensification related to decentralization of the distributed generation of electricity, and it is a positive possibility action regarding the diversification related to Brazilian matrix primary energy source configuration, considering that the fuel-stations would be a provider of the electric-energy in proximity of the consumers, attempting the demands needed. Concurrently, the same fuel-stations would be a green-hydrogen supplier, providing a reduced polluting by using the ethanol as a biofuel already extremely applied over all Brazilian territory. Another objective advantage refers to direct green-hydrogen usage post the processing of ethanol reform cooperated with the SOFC, avoiding or mitigating the usual observed technical and economics difficult and limitations related to storage and transport of high volumes of hydrogen, that alternatively the storage and transport could be accomplished with ethanol and water and using the proposed station, the green-hydrogen would be used directly to the demands of consuming. Therefore, the work consists of thermodynamic analysis, considering the balance of mass, energy and exergy as well as an economic-financial analysis of this electricity and hydrogen generating station is realized, aiming to identify the energy potential of this proposal as a validation of feasibility in terms technical and financial. For this, a functional simulation of the station is established in which the conditions of the possible operational cycles, such as: only electricity production, concomitant production of electricity and hydrogen, and only hydrogen production. The objective is to identify the results regarding these operating conditions, in order to consider the most beneficials conditions of the station proposal, in energetic and monetary terms.
