RESUMO:

In this work a quadrotor UAV model is obtined using analytic dynamics and quaterns to represent attitude.

The linear optimal control is extended to a nonlinear perspective called State-dependent Riccati Equation (SDRE). Here, this theory is applied so the under-actuated, nonlinear UAV's nature is controlled.

Simulations shown good performance, reaching angles greater than those obtained with linear approches, while keeping the vehicle stable and without steady-state error.
