In Brazil, the costs associated with electricity transmission services are a challenge, since the value of energy transportation is high, given the useful life of the transmission lines and the distance between the electric power generators and the transmission centers cargo, since Brazil is a country of continental dimension, where consumers are mostly concentrated in the coastal region. Therefore, the investment planned for such an undertaking is high. Within this context, the general objective of this research consists in the comparative simulation of transmission usage tariffs, through the Nodal Program, projecting the values between the years 2021 to 2030 to be funded by the Santo Antônio Hydroelectric Power Plant, according to the Plan Decennial Energy Expansion of 2027, finding the scenario that returns the lowest possible tariff values. The literature is based on the guidelines of the National Energy Agency, which allows the rite of expansion of the works of the Electricity Transmission System in Brazil, which observes the evolution of electricity consumption in the National Interconnected System. This research was developed to study the effects of the tariff processes at the Santo Antônio Power Plant, reviewing the energy matrix in Brazil, the tariff structure of electric energy transmission services, using the Nodal methodology. The challenge is to prorate the cost of transmission works between consumers and generators, which is passed on as Permitted Annual Revenue, which lists the costs of works, improvements, tenders and expansion of the Transmission System in Brazil. Through the insertion of input data into the Nodal Program, the following scenarios were considered to assess the evolution of tariffs: considering the guidelines of the 2027 Decennial Plan; considering the withdrawal of the Termonorte II Thermoelectric Plant in 2024; considering the delay in completing the work on the Tabajara Hydroelectric Plant, previously scheduled for 2025, until 2027 and; the combination of the withdrawal of the thermal power plant and the delay at Tabajara. The importance of this research is due to the presentation of the positioning of the Santo Antônio Plant, from an operational point of view, regarding regulatory, by the Regulatory Agency, aiming at minimizing the cost and optimizing the dispatch of power, reducing losses and, consequently, tariffs to better understand the proposed methodology.
