SUMMARY:

This document presents the implementation of a fault detection methodology based on state space equation modeling of a photovoltaic inverter model considering the two conversion circuits (DC and AC). The proposal consists of applying two traditional methods of fault detection: Unknown Input Observers (UIO) and Beard Fault Detection Filters (BFDF). The obtained results show the good performance of the proposed detection scheme. The obtained model manages to adequately represent the behavior of both circuits. The proposed methodology will be applied to a real photovoltaic inverter.
