SUMMARY:

The present work analyzes the impact of the presence of parameter incompatibility on the performance of two control methods for a Dobly Induction Generator Powered (DFIG): the Robust

 Predictive control method and Proportional Control - Integral. Both methods were based on field orientation (FOC).

 in turbines wind turbines based on DFIG, the stator windings are normally connected directly to the grid, while a

 power converter feeds the rotor windings. This type of generator allows independent control of the active power 

(P) and control of reactive power (Q). The method used to decouple the power components from the DFIG is Field 

Oriented Control (FOC). The preliminary results of the simulations carried out in the SimulinkTM® software

 attest to the superiority of the robust control to handle with variations in plant resistance values.
