RESUMO:

The main contribution of this document is the development of a predictive controller applied to the current control of a single-phase

 inverter connected to the electrical grid. In order to reduce harmonic distortion to acceptable levels, it is proposed 

to apply 2 and 3 switching states within the same period using fixed frequency modulation. The performance of the 

predictive controller is compared with traditional control techniques, such as PI, P+RES and SMC+PI, for which the

 theory of controllers and their respective adjustments is approached. Finally, simulations in Matlab/Simulink

 software validate the proposal, allowing for a comparative analysis. Subsequently, experimental results of the

 studied controllers are obtained on the bench using the TMDSSOLARPEXPKIT kit, and the algorithms are executed

 in a digital signal processor from Texas Instruments, model TMS320F28035, in order to experimentally verify their

 performance in real time. Finally, the simulation results are analyzed and compared, as well as the experimental 

results showed a satisfactory performance, proving the effectiveness of the proposal and the references were 

promptly met.
