RESUMO:

The objective of this work is the computational simulation and generation of several optical beams and vortices, based on non-diffractive beams and structured light beams with orbital angular momentum, using spatial light modulators with perspectives in several applications in optical and optoelectronic instrumentation. The phenomena of diffraction, dispersion and absorption of optical beams in linear and non-linear optical media have been studied for a long time, being often limiting factors in applications that use optical beams. In order to eliminate or reduce these effects, so-called localized waves or non-diffracting waves or diffraction-resistant waves arise, which are by definition packages of localized waves that remain unchanged during propagation. Recent developments have increasingly made it possible to have the experimental implementation of holographic systems for recording and numerical and/or optical reconstruction of special optical beams and optical vortices: non-diffractive beams and structured light beams with orbital angular momentum using spatial light modulators (SLMs). In this, we intend to study, perform computer simulations and experimentally implement the holographic generation of special optical beams and particular optical vortices, with promising prospects for the improvement and innovation in holographic optical tweezers, optical communications, quantum information, imaging, metrology and optical interferometry.
