RESUMO:

Torque and speed control of a permanent magnet DC motor is often used in power windows lifters for automotive applications. In this type of motor the armature slots in the rotor produce a current ripple that is proportional to the electromagnetic torque and the frequency of the current ripple is proportional to the mechanical speed of the rotor. In this work a time-varying model of the DC motor with permanent magnet is analyzed using the MATLAB / SIMULINK program, the model considers the effect of the mechanical commutator on the current, resistance and inductance of the armature. Conventional equations of the DC machine and the time-varying equations considering the changes in armature resistance and inductance are presented and analyzed. Open and closed loop simulation results are presented. A PI controller is used to control the motor speed. Experimental tests validate the simulation results.
