RESUMO:

The popularization of Brazilian channels on YouTube® brings a wide possibility of study to several areas of knowledge, being this platform a means to propitiate the most diverse debates in the cyberspace and to generate forms of network activism. The following research analyzes the Jout Jout Prazer channel - which discusses topics which are common to the feminist movement, though not only - from the perspective of Social Network Sites studies and the ties that form around the figure of an youtuber; ties, which allowed her to influence a public debate on a new wave of the feminist movement. The methodological procedure used combines content analysis with Social Network Analysis (SNA) on five videos chosen from the channel. The methodology also includes analysis of 100 comments from each of these videos, systematized quantitatively and qualitatively. The goal is to understand what elements make youtuber a "digital influencer", as has she been called. In this sense, the power of communication and the strategies of counterpower of the actors of the network, especially the cyber-activists, are delineated in the bundle of the social transformations happened parallel to the technological transformations. The results include elements that empower youtuber as an influencer (thus justifying such influence), from the analysis of the relationship between it and the users that accompany and endorse its content on the network.
