IMPACTS OF THE NEOLIBERAL MANAGEMENT MODEL ON WORKERS: the conformation of subjectivity and psychic suffering among bank employees.
The present research has as its theme neoliberalism and the psychic suffering suffered by workers. Based on the neoliberal process of shaping the subjectivity of individuals, reducing the State's role in favor of society and the precariousness of working conditions, the main objective of this study is to investigate how this process occurs and its influences on psychic suffering - even if accompanied by feelings of satisfaction – especially among bank workers. The choice of the banking sector is due to the verification, through previous studies, that the contemporary Brazilian financial institutions constitute a prominent segment regarding the adoption of neoliberal management values and regarding the presence of psychological suffering among their workers, in addition to being to deal with the researcher's professional sector, who herself experiences such situations, on the board of a public bank. As a methodology, in addition to the bibliographic research on the issues involved, research will be carried out on digital documents of the financial institution studied, the Bank Workers Union of São Paulo, Osasco and Region and interviews with 9 workers from the afore mentioned board of the banking institution.
