Educational games allow players to entertain and learn at the same time. 

But for this to occur it is necessary that the game be well produced, so that it does not escape the 

educational purposes and is only for entertainment. 

This point is a difficulty that several games present. 

Considering such difficulty in constructing a digital educational game, 

it is indispensable to use methodologies for its development. 

To improve the issue of the development of digital educational games of the RPG type, 

this work proposes a methodology for the development of this type of game. 

The methodology will be based on the INTERA methodology developed by UFABC and will be 

validated in the development of the Antarctic Expedition game.
