With the increasing technology adoption in education, schools in various countries have incorporated Educational Robotics (ER). It transforms classes into more engaging and enjoyable moments, proposing solutions to everyday problems through technological devices. This study investigates an approach to introducing ER as a teaching and learning tool to stimulate Computational Thinking (CT) among high school and technical students at the State Technical School of Campo Limpo Paulista (ETECAMP). In this case, to validate the proposed approach, a field study was conducted with first-year students in the technical course in Internet Computing, applying playful and active methodologies through free or low-cost technologies in weekly classes and activities. Data collection was performed through two questionnaires (initial and final), allowing the observation of students' progress with the incentives provided by ER, as described in the literature, such as improved logical knowledge, autonomy, intellectual creativity, and learning ability. After analyzing the results, it is considered feasible to introduce ER and the concept of CT at ETECAMP, as it allowed students to be active participants in the teaching and learning process, making classes dynamic and creating a space for relaxation even when concentration and logical reasoning are required for problem-solving.
