RESUMO:

This project aims to study reading words and pseudowords with the integrated use of eye tracking (Eye tracking) and functional magnetic resonance (fMRI). The use of Eye tracking and fMRI will allow  investigate the complex pattern of sensory and cognitive processing. The objective of the work is to evaluate reading and verify the pupil dilation in words and pseudowords. Forty adults were evaluated, divided into a control group and an experimental group, which consisted of adults with developmental dyslexia. All were screened by a battery of
neuropsychological tests. The pattern of neural activation during reading of Portuguese (PT - BR) word can indicate possible behavioral or neural markers related of reading impairment thus contributing to early diagnosis.
