SUMMARY:

Based on the concepts of entropy and complexity, Configurational Information Measures (CIMs) are tools that extract information about physical systems from their spatially localized energy density, determining properties such as stability limits and phase transitions. In this thesis, CIMs are employed to investigate hadron spectroscopy. By utilizing phenomenological AdS/QCD models in conjunction with CIMs, cataloged meson and baryon resonances are interpolated into structures analogous to Regge trajectories, from which analytical expressions are derived to estimate the masses of higher-order excited states. These estimates are compared with experimental data to search for possible correspondences that may elucidate the properties of particles that have been experimentally detected but remain unidentified. Using this CIM-based AdS/QCD hybrid method, this work analyzes light mesons within a dynamical model, strange vector kaons in a framework that accounts for constituent quark masses, and light-flavor baryons at finite temperature. Aiming to be self-contained, this thesis presents a review of AdS/QCD models, followed by a formal introduction to CIMs. Thus, the text also serves as a reference guide for a first contact with both topics.
