SUMMARY:

Effective field theory is a promising approach to explore new models of interactions between Standard Model particles and new particles, within its validity range. In this work, we present two applications. In the first, we calculate the forces induced between nucleons due to a finite density of dark particles. In the second, we calculate the flux of dark particles emitted from interactions involving Standard Model particles.
