Ethical action: Leopoldo Zea's contribution to a philosophy of action
The purpose of this study is, with the appropriation of the Leopoldo Zea's philosophy, to search for elements that can contribute to action and ethical thoughts. Therefore, we divided this study into two moments, which became the chapters. At the first the Mexican philosopher, who is at the base of the Philosophy of Liberation and whose reflections are built from the Mexican and Latin American circumstances, was systematically studied, searching in his work one of the main keys in his thinking: circumstance, miscegenation, raise awareness, responsibility, which are presented and discussed, are already a way of getting an idea for a reflection that follows. By the appropriation of these categories, in the next moment, chapter two, we move to the central object of our study, to reflect the construction of a hypocritical ethics and cynical across history, which guides the relations based on the master-slave relationship model, verticalizing the human coexistence of this continent. The discussion moves towards a mission of raise awareness of the circumstance, which culminates with Ethical Action and its reflection, a Philosophy of Action. Important note that, way beyond answering, the study has a provocative character to reflection and action, where the path remains open for discussion, improvement, and reconstruction.
