"Agonistic dispute as a Nietzschean ethical project and its appropriation in democratic theory"
The object of the research is the analysis of the relationship between Nietzsche and democracy from authors of contemporary democratic thought who, in one way or another, articulate their work around a project of an agonistic democracy. The proposal is to make a meeting between this instrumental appropriation of Nietzsche's thought and what would be a specialized interpretation of the way agon and agonism appear in Nietzsche's work. Examining what the philosopher actually elaborated around these themes, the idea is not exactly to confront the interpretation articulated in the contemporary political debate, but to verify, from some disagreements, what Nietzschean thought has to contribute to this discussion.
