AERODYNAMICS OF CARS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS USING THE THREE PEDAGOGICAL MOMENTS AND SUPPORTED BY A WIND TUNNEL EXPERIMENT
This work presents a proposal for the approach of aerodynamic physics of cars in high school, focusing on subjects addressed in the third year, such as forces, pressure, and behavior of bodies immersed in fluids. Using a proposed sequence of classes with visual and experimental resources in the methodology and didactics of teaching physics. Having as its main foundation, the methodology of the Three Pedagogical Moments (TMP). Since there are rare moments when hydrodynamics is fully addressed, in the Third Grade of High School due to the lack of space in the calendar of the school year, the importance of addressing issues such as mass transport phenomena is perceived such as the Bernoulli effect, the action of Newton's third law on fluids and the Coandă effect corresponding to pressure variation when the fluid goes around a curved surface. This proposal was applied in Diadema city's public school.
