Metamorphoses of appropriation: The definitions of commons in the perspectives of the authors Elinor Ostrom and Silvia Federici
Globalization, the processes of intensification of production and consumption have generated in society an effervescent discussion about the theme of common resources, their predatory use and scarcity. With the unfolding of the economy, new forms of production and capitalism took place, driven by the development of new technologies and society itself. However, it is possible to observe that the space opened by the sharing methods not only gives rise to new models of coexistence, but also reveals new and old forms of exploitation renamed and remodeled to a new, no less demeaning, nor communal reality that this work intends to demonstrate. . The definitions of shareable resources for Silvia Federici and Elinor Ostrom point to different perspectives on the issue of commons, and the possible appropriation of the sharing discourse in new ways of exploring the neoliberal project.
