HYPOTHESIS PODEMOS: Movements-parties as paradigm os contemporany politics.
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the party-form of emerging party-movements as a contemporary paradigm in times of crisis of democracy, based on the hypothesis We can from Spain.
In a context of hegemonic crisis that opened a “populist moment” in Spanish politics, the home party, influenced by the Indignant movements, seeks to hold a hegemonic dispute through a populist strategy while structuring itself as a new party form in the which online and offline participation are key elements in this dispute.
To this end, the work proposes to realize through the theoretical perspective of the Theory of Discourse of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe the political context of emergence and disputed hegemonic party, the theoretical and discursive content of the main leaders of the Spanish party-movement.
Thus, the development of the thesis proposes to establish a dialogue between theory and political practice, through documents, manifestos and government programs of Somos; analysis of political leadership and party dynamics of this contemporary political proposal that seeks to overcome traditional models.
