AFFIRMATIVE POLICIES AT COMMUNITY UNIVERSITIES IN THE CITY OF SÃO PAULO - PUC AND MACKENZIE
The search will analyze the affirmative actions of community universities, the impact of these actions on the experience of young black people, as well as the access and permanence of these young people on and off campus. To do so, a wide and varied repertoire of official documents from three community universities in the capital of São Paulo: PUC and Mackenzie will be analyzed. From the analysis and organization of the data, some categories will be compared, among them: entrance, aids, post-entry and pedagogical programs of permanence. As a result, it is expected to understand the nature of appropriate treatments of affirmative actions, since they are key points for black students to achieve their goals, especially with regard to permanence during academic life.
