• General Information:

The Materials Science and Engineering program aims at training human resources for higher education teaching, scientific research, and to become experts in Research, Development, and Innovation; thus, to contribute to the national scientific and technological development of the Materials Engineering area.

This approach prepares professionals capable of working on issues related to research, development and innovation, from the fundamental or from the technological development point of view. The performance of these professionals may take place within the education and research industry; thus, they will be able to apply the knowledge,  gained in the research lines, in their professional performances.
