BIOTECHNOSCIENCE

 

  • General information:

The master’s and doctor’s degree programs are recognized by CAPES and aim at training qualified professionals in order to contribute to the development of Biotechnology in the country.

Research developed within the program involve frontier investigations in bioinformatics, tissue engineering, nanomedicine, biophotonics, reproductive biotechnology, vegetable biotechnology, medical physics and industrial enzimes.

The program’s main goal is to foster the academic-industry relationship, by training professionals not only in education and research, but also in the development of products and biotechnological processes.

Students are also encouraged to learn management abilities and entrepreneurship, through courses in intellectual property and technology transfer.

Physical, chemical, and biological properties of complex molecules

Methods applied to complex systems

Master's and Doctor’s degrees

Call for application usually opens in June/July and October/November.
