The goal is to create a network of educators who will incorporate the concepts of Human Rights into schools and society at large through pedagogical practices and the development of specific teaching materials on human rights education, aiming to reduce educational inequalities and promote respect for differences.
The Human Rights Education specialization program establishes, through its actions, the promotion of a culture of respect for human dignity, through the encouragement and experience of fundamental values of humanity, such as freedom, tolerance, and peace. It fosters questioning and the confrontation of everyday conflicts.
Investment in education and the promotion of culture in the social environment guided the applied practices, aiming to develop a critical consciousness in the individuals reached, recognizing human plurality and its diverse manifestations in pursuit of the development of a more just and democratic society.
